What is RSS?

RSS or (really Simple Syndication) allows you to receive the latest updates from the Flint CVB website. When we update our content, you automatically receive updated content. This way you don't have to visit the site for fresh content.

How do I Subscribe to the Feed?

The first thing you need is a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them. There are many choices, some of which are accessed using a browser (such as Google Reader-free), and some of which are downloadable applications (such as Newz Crawler). Browser-based news readers are the simplest. Browser based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions without the use other software, where downloadable applications store content on your computer in the same way that you download e-mail using a client like Outlook.

Once you have chosen a news reader simply click on the links above. Or copy the feed address and paste it into an RSS news reader, or use a browser which supports RSS feeds, such as Safari 2.0 Firefox, or Internet Explorer 7.
