Put a Spark in Your Volunteer Experience!
The Flint Sparks are goodwill ambassadors, who truly enjoy promoting Flint and Genesee County. The Sparks are a volunteer group that is an extension of our convention services. The Spark activities include:
We have a meeting at 10 a.m. on the last Thursday of every month at a member facility. Once or twice a year we have a Sparks's appreciation, where the Flint - Genesee County Convention & Visitors Bureau treats you to an event. Appreciations that we have done in the past include: Luncheon Cruise on the Genesee Belle, Tickets to the Chesaning Showboat, a tour of the Mott Applewood Estates and dinner at a local restaurant, and a brunch theater. The Sparks are also invited to attend the Hospitality Awards and our Holiday Open House, as our guest.
The Flint - Genesee County Convention and Visitors Bureau provides you with training, a name badge, and a yellow Flint Shirt. Thank you for your interest in the Flint Sparks, if you need additional information or would like to speak with someone, you may contact:
